American Chemical Society
The American Chemical Society is a scientific society based around the field of chemistry. Our University of Pittsburgh chapter, holding over 50 undergraduate students, focuses on outreach teaching children the importance and fun of chemistry.

Pitt SURF
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh is pleased to offer SURF (summer undergraduate research fellowship) positions open to underrepresented minorities in the STEM disciplines and/or female applicants. These positions are offered yearly. Applicants are required to attach their cover letter, official or unofficial transcript, and select four research groups in which they are interested.
