Research Overview
Teaching Organic and General Chemistry
Dr. Huston (formerly Cederstrom) joined our faculty in the fall of 1999 to teach General and Organic Chemistry courses. She was awarded a B.S. from the University of Alaska in 1989, a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1996 and a M.Ed. from the University of Maryland in 1997.
Besides teaching, Dr. Huston serves as an advisor for newly declared chemistry majors. She is also the chemistry department's faculty coordinator for the College of Arts and Sciences Supplemental Instruction Study Group Program. Her Outreach activities include the High School Honors Organic Program as well as the University of Pittsburgh's High School Chemistry Olympics.
Dr. Huston is also serving as faculty advisor for the Lutheran Student Fellowship.
