Jonathan Weisberg has been selected by the SAS (Society for Applied Spectroscopy) Student Award Committee of the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh to receive the 2013 SAS Student Award! The Society had asked the awardee to demonstrate an aptitude for research in one or more of the various fields of spectroscopy and maintain a QPA of 3.0 or higher in his or her undergraduate course work. The award itself consists of a $500.00 check, a certificate, and a one-year subscription to the Journal of Applied Spectroscopy.
The award will be presented to Jonathan at the 2013 SSP Awards Ceremony and Former Chairmen Night, to be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Power Center Ballroom at Duquesne University.
