The Air Force YIP supports scientists and engineers who show exceptional ability and promise for conducting basic research. The objective of this program is to foster research in science and engineering, enhance early career development, and increase opportunities for the young investigator. Prof. Liu's research will be part of the "Aerospace Materials for Extreme Environments" program.
