Professor Kay Brummond received a Visiting Fellow Award from the University of New South Wales in Australia. The Faculty of Science Visiting Fellowships are targeted to researchers of high standing relative to their career stage who are invited by a Faculty academic staff member. The visit will initiate and develop collaborative research and facilitate interaction with, and training of Faculty staff and students. The Visiting Fellows are expected to make a tangible contribution to the Faculty during their period of stay. In addition to her week long stay at UNSW in October, she will be giving research lectures at the University of Sydney, University of Melbourne and Australian National University in Canberra.
