Toby Chapman is to be inducted as the Distinguished Member of the University of Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars for the academic year 2010-2011

The honor society recognizes outstanding scholastic achievement of first and second year students as well as promoting a national integrity initiative. Professor Chapman was said to model the mission of the society--honoring and inspiring academic excellence and engaged citizenship for a lifetime. The society, founded in 1994, is a major provider of scholarships and fosters learning and leadership.
