The American Chemical Society Student Chapter at the University of Pittsburgh has been selected to receive a Green Chemistry Award for its outreach activities conducted during the 2017-18 academic year.
The ACS Green Chemistry Institute® recognized 72 chapters for the academic year 2017-18, who successfully engaged in three or more green chemistry activities. In addition to recognition in Chemical & Engineering News and the student member magazine inChemistry, and in the ACS Green Chemistry Institute's e-newsletter, The Nexus, the Green Chemistry award winning chapters were honored at the 257th ACS National Meeting in Orlando, FL on March 31, 2019.
