Karl Johnson and Ken Jordan (co-directors) lead the team of Pitt's Center for Research Computing (CRC). The group includes research assistant professor Ketan Maheshwari, research assistant professor Fangping Mu, research associate professor Kim Wong, research assistant professor Barry Moore II, research assistant professor Shervin Sammak, Associate Vice Provost for Research Computing Ralph Roskies, and administrative coordinator Wendy Janocha. The mission of the CRC is to increase the research productivity of Pitt faculty through the use of advanced computing. It was announced this week in the Pittwire that the CRC is one of the first places in the country to access Intel's powerful new computing systems.
