Prof. Chong has been awarded a DFG Mercator Fellowship for a research collaboration with Prof. Thomas Kiefhaber at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Halle, Germany involving "Conformational Dynamics of Peptides and Proteins on the Nanoseconds to Microseconds Timescale." The award supports travel, accommodation, and salary for two months each year for the next three years.
