A collaborative project between the Chen lab (Stanford) and the Deiters lab (Pitt) was funded by a four year grant from the National Institutes of Health. This award will support research aimed at developing and applying lariat-shaped morpholino antisense agents that can be activated with light. The proposed reagents will enable precise spatial and temporal control of gene silencing in aquatic embryos.
