Two Postdoctoral Positions in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology
at the University of Minnesota
The Harki lab ( at the University of Minnesota, Department of Medicinal Chemistry
has immediate openings for two Postdoctoral Research Associates. Both positions are NIH-funded and
the initial term of appointment is one year. Start dates are negotiable. Projects will involve the design,
synthesis, and biochemical testing of small molecule inhibitors of biomedically important proteins. The
ideal candidates will have strong training in synthetic organic chemistry with a Ph.D. in chemistry,
medicinal chemistry, or closely related area. Experience with protein-based spectroscopic assays and
mammalian cell culture is desired, but not required. Highly motivated applicants with a desire to work
across the chemistry-biology interface are encouraged to apply.
