Postdoctoral Position in Polymer Membranes for Gas Separations

The Gin and Noble group at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking qualified applicants for a postdoctoral researcher position in the synthesis and characterization of new ionic polymer membrane materials for light gas separations.  Applicants must a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science, as well as experience in the design and synthesis of monomers and polymers.  Experience in polymer film fabrication and gas membrane permeation experiments is also preferred but not required.  Only applicants who already are in the U.S. and have permission to legally work in the U.S. will be considered.

The initial appointment will be for one year, with the potential to continue for a longer duration based on project progress and availability of funding.  The annual salary for this position will be commensurate with federal policy for postdoctoral researchers and include standard benefits.  The new position will begin on Aug. 1, 2020.
