Department of Chemistry

Post Doc Position - University of Delaware

A postdoctoral position is available in Prof. Thomas Epps' group in the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department at the University of Delaware (UD), with a focus on the directed assembly and in situ characterization of nanostructured polymer thin films using X-ray and neutron scattering/reflectometry techniques. This effort is part of the University of Delaware Center for Neutron Science, and the postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to engage in thin film characterization, beamline experiments and substantial instrument development at both UD and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  Interested candidates should have a background or keen interest in one or more of the following areas: block copolymers, X-ray or neutron scattering, thin film nanostructure characterization.  The position is available
