The Department of Chemistry and Physics at West Virginia State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry with a concentration in Organic or Bioorganic Chemistry. The Department is housed within the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and has three chemistry degree options, one of which is approved by the American Chemical Society. The candidate should have the ability to teach undergraduate courses in general, nursing, and organic chemistry. The candidate is also expected to prepare external and internal grants, engage in research, participate in service activities, and advise students.
