The School of Packaging has 2 research associate positions available. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have expertise in polymer chemistry (e.g., synthesis and characterization).
Candidates will be expected to design, develop, and perform experiments and report progress to Dr. Rabnawaz and Dr. Matuana.
In addition, these candidates will be expected to mentor one or two graduate students in the research group.
Doctorate -Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Material Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant field
Candidates will have completed a PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences or a closely related field by the position start date.
Candidates will have a good record of productivity in polymer synthesis, catalysis, and materials as well as have expertise in the analytical techniques such as NMR, GPC, DSC, DMA, TGA, tensile properties, etc.
