Description:
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Clemson University (http://www.clemson.edu/mse/) invites applications for a tenure/tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position with a starting date of August 15, 2022. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or postdoctoral experience in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry and/or physics, or related disciplines. The Department has vigorous research and comprehensive infrastructure in all areas of materials science.
The successful candidate is expected to develop nationally and internationally recognized externally funded research program. Exceptional candidates in all areas of materials science and engineering will be considered. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in computational and/or experimental inorganic materials. Candidates are also expected to strive for excellence in teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or postdoctoral experience in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry and/or physics, or related disciplines.
