Prof. Kaz Koide and his graduate student, Matthrew Tracey received a Technology Collaboration Award at the 18th Annual Merck Technology Symposium for “Visual Assays for Rapid Determination of Residual Palladium in Pharmaceutical Products and Intermediates.”The Koide group has been collaborating with Merck Research Laboratories to expedite trace palladium analysis in pharmaceutical production. The Koide group and the Merck team are the co-recipients of this award as a recognition for their successful development and implementation of the method at Merck.
