Metrohm USA awarded its first Young Chemist Award to Mr. Matthew Dawson (University of California Irvine). The Young Chemist award was created to recognize, celebrate and support brilliant science leaders of the future. Dawson received a $10,000 grant for developing a simple and reliable method for the detection of gas phase amines at atmospherically relevant concentrations. Young Chemist winners were celebrated at a special press conference at PITTCON, Tuesday March 19, 2013 in Philadelphia, PA.
