On May 4, 2011 the Chemistry Department hosted the 32nd Annual High School Chemistry Olympics. Almost 200 students from 26 schools from Pennsylvania competed in the all-day event. After completing laboratory experiments the students were ranked based on performance in three categories: Category I for first year chemistry students; Category II for second year students and Category III for organic students. Prizes were awarded to the winning teams. Congratulations to all the students who participated this year.
