Streamlining the Pitt Chemistry Stockroom Ordering MethodologyThe Department of Chemistry is pleased to announce a change to the Pitt Chemistry Stockroom ordering methodology that will streamline ordering and improve service to Department of Chemistry end users. These changes will take effect on February 28, 2011. In an effort to finalize the transformation, the Pitt Chemistry Stockroom will be closed on Friday, February 25, 2011. To ensure your day-to-day operations are not affected by this planned shutdown of the Pitt Chemistry Stockroom place Stockroom orders by noon on Thursday, February 24, 2011. Alternatively, end users can also place orders with Fisher Scientific, our Preferred Provider, which stocks most of the items available for purchase in the Pitt Chemistry Stockroom, and ships next day delivery free of charge.
