Each year the Council of the American Association for the Advancement of Science elects members whose “efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished.”
The 2016 AAAS Fellows will be recognized at AAAS' 2017 annual meeting where they will be presented a rosette pin, its gold and blue colors signify science and engineering, respectively.
