D. John Faulkner Award was named after Professor D John Faulkner, a pioneer in marine natural product chemistry who played a central role in developing the field of marine chemical ecology.
This award is given annually to a young investigator who is within 5 years of gaining their first independent position. The award consists of an engraved plaque and $1000.
