Guidelines for Using the Open Access GCMS:
- Attend a training course provided by the mass spectrometry lab personnel. It will be sheduled on every Tuesday in week (Must be completed before using the instrumentation).
- Log all samples into the log book provided. Also please provide any additional comments that may be useful.
- Do not overwrite others saved methods and general methods.
- Transfer data files from the instrument computer within 3 weeks.
(Data files will be deleted without notice after 3 weeks.) - Maintain a clean condition in all mass spectrometry labs.
- Do not share the room combination with anyone. Also close the lab and turn off the light if you finish using the instrument after 5pm.
- Contact mass spectrometry lab personnel if a problem is encountered.
Guidelines for Using the Open Access LCMS:
- Attend a training course provided by the mass spectrometry lab personnel. It will be sheduled on every Thursday in week (Must be completed before using the instrumentation).
- Filter all samples with a 2 micron particle size filter prior to running the instrument.
- Log all samples into the log book provided.
- Do not overwrite others saved methods/General methods.
- Transfer data files from the instrument computer within 3 weeks.
(Data files will be deleted without notice after 3 weeks.) - Maintain a clean condition in all mass spectrometry labs.
- Solvents will be provided and filled by mass spectrometry lab personnel.
- Do not share the room combination with anyone. Also if you finish using the instrument after 5pm please close the door and turn off the light.
- Contact mass spectrometry lab personnel if a problem is encountered.
