The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania

invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (AA#52-7-

084), in an ACS-approved and ASBMB-accredited program, to begin fall 2018.

Candidates must have a Ph.D., or be ABD, in Chemistry with expertise in analytical

chemistry. Candidates must: 1) have a strong interest and demonstrated proficiency in

teaching analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, and introductory chemistry courses

to undergraduate science majors and non-majors; 2) demonstrate an ability and interest

in developing an active research program in analytical chemistry that involves

undergraduate students and complements the existing research within the department;

and 3) demonstrate a commitment to the recruitment, retention, and advisement of

undergraduate students; 4) have an interest in the acquisition, development, and/or

maintenance of department instrumentation. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse
